Trampers for Hire

Some of the sites around the Chase have Tramper mobility scooters for hire. We try to keep this information up to date but if your visit relies on the availability of a Tramper please check with the visitor centre before you travel.

Cannock Chase Visitor Centre

Book in advance at cannockchasemarquisdrive@staffordshire.gov.uk

£5 for 1.5 hours or £25 for an annual pass.

There is a brief introduction in safety for operating the vehicle, then trail maps are supplied to indicate the routes available for use. A form of I.D. must be produced, along with a mobile phone number of the user, in case users get into difficulty.

The Wolseley Centre

There is a mobility scooter onsite which can be hired for donation. For further information, ring the centre on 01889 880100.

Chasewater Innovation Centre

Mobility scooter available on a first come, first served basis (no booking system available) for a maximum of 2 hours. No charge.

A standard T&C’s form to complete on loan and  a form of ID as a deposit, bus pass, driving licence etc.

Shugborough Estate

Five trampers are available, to guarantee access to a tramper we recommend booking please email shugtramper@nationaltrust.org.uk Please let us know your name, contact number, arrival time and date, and whether you have used a tramper here at Shugborough before.

Wheelchairs are also available on a first come first served basis.
