The Cannock Chase Visitor Centre and Café is the ideal starting point for numerous self-guided walking and family activities, including easy access routes .

An augmented reality trail (think Pokemon Go) for little legs and techies alike.
This hut originated from one of the two military camps built on Cannock Chase during the Great War; Brocton Camp and Rugeley Camp. Over 100 men built these huts in 1914 shortly before troops moved into them in early 1915.
Fence play area surrounded with picnic tables and walking trails beyond close to the cafe and toilets.
RAF Hednesford Trail follows level, well-surfaced paths for most of the route and is easy access. The trail is a circular walk around a former RAF Second World War training camp.
A 2.25 mile trail on varied terrain. Allow 2 hours.
Starting at Cannock Chase Visitor Centre or Campfields Car Park, a 1.25 mile walking trail on varied terrain, allow 1 hour.
A 2 mile trail from Brindley Village car Park exploring the history of the now demolished Brindley Village.
The Visitor Centre at Marquis Drive is open Thursday to Sunday, 10am – 4pm.
Visitor Centre opening times are subject to weather conditions and staff availability. We do advise checking with the centre before travelling to ensure it is open on the date of your visit to avoid disappointment. Please call: 01543 876741.

There are pay and display car parks at Marquis Drive and Milford Common.
From 1st April 2024, charges will be £1.20 for up to two hours, and £3.50 all day.
Annual parking passes are available for £38, in person from the visitor centre at Marquis Drive, by calling 01543 876741 during opening hours, or by emailing cannockchasemarquisdrive@staffordshire.gov.uk.
The annual pass also covers the car park at Chasewater Country Park.
