Get Involved to help Cannock Chase Invertebrates
There are a whole range of ways you can contribute to our records of insects and invertebrates, in Cannock Chase. Many of which are Citizen Science Projects, or you may like to help with longer-term surveys and become a Bee Walker or help with Butterfly Transects.

- Natures Calendar- Woodland Trust – insects (spring) Insects – Nature’s Calendar (When do you spot the first insects )?
- Bee Walk – March- October Bumblebee surveying and monitoring – Bumblebee Conservation Trust
(Train to set up/ or help with an existing Bee Walk)
- Butterfly transect (survey methods and when) – details via the rangers/ butterfly conservation . NB – add in and link to post of planting March Violets in November.
